Annet Mahendru

Mahendru a Russian Indian mother was born in Afghanistan. She is fluent of German Russian and English and also speaks French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru, born in India to an Indian father and a Russian father and an Indian mother, is proficient of both Indian and Russian. An improvised performance she choreographed at the age of 11 which aired on German TV, changed her into the Russian dancer, who became a snow maiden. She graduated from high school with a degree in New York and received a Bachelor of Arts in English at St. John's University. She was a student of improv and comedy at Groundlings School after leaving HB Studio. She was raised within Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru and a Russian-speaking mother Olga. The couple divorced at the age of 13 old and she relocated to East Meadow New York with her father.She stars alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell on FX's The Americans. TV actress known for playing former KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova, on FX's The Americans. The actress was a regular character in Fox's The Following, and NBC's The Blacklist.
